Simon Carroll was born in Manchester, United Kingdom and is the middle child of a working-class family who does not fit in, and the prospect of work feels so unfair. After the 27 jobs described in the book, he had some real jobs and worked in the following places: France, Spain, India, Sudan, The Maldives, Dubai and Switzerland. He still dares to dream.
