John Croxton was born in Shrewsbury and has lived in a variety of places, including France. Travelled widely. Married with two sons and two grandsons. Spent eleven years in Gloucestershire Constabulary, ran a business for five years, was a mature student at Birmingham University and then was in primary education for twenty-five years before retiring back to Shropshire.
