Rossann Cummins grew up in Wicklow, Ireland. She trained as a nurse and midwife in Dublin before having a family of her own with her husband, Fergal. The Cummins family have enjoyed living in Sydney, Australia, and Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. Rossann has written three children’s picture books about emigration from a child’s point of view. She likes to write about current issues that affect young families with a slant towards health, well-being and the environment. She is currently living with her family in Cork.
