Alusine Akim Deen hails from the West African nation of Sierra Leone, and came to Britain in the late 1980s. He is father to Kiza, Zia, Akim-Aziz, Zaki, and Zara. Alusine holds under- and post-graduate degrees in Environmental Science, and also an MBA.
