Mary Donaldson-Evans

A retired university professor, a grandmother and an octogenarian, Mary Donaldson-Evans is the author of stories and non-fiction narratives in such online literary magazines as The Lowestoft Chronicle, BoomerLit Magazine, and Persimmon Tree. In 2021 she published Behind the Lines: A Soldier, His Family, and the 10th Mountain Division, a memoir based upon her parents’ correspondence during World War II. Along with her husband Lance and the ghosts of six cats, a chameleon, and four birds, Donaldson-Evans lives in a Pennsylvania farmhouse built in 1730 (a few years before she was born).
