Kesh Douglas
Kesh Douglas grew up in Dunedin, New Zealand and then moved to Wellington where she currently resides with her husband, and fur babies Vino, Lulu and Micah.
For ten years Kesh immersed herself in researching the history of Wittenoom. She took a year out of full-time employment to complete an advanced Diploma in Creative Writing. Kesh ventured to the outback with her husband in 2018 to truly experience the essence and uniqueness of the Pilbara Region.
Kesh wrote The Miner of Wittenoom to expose the truth and to increase awareness of the dangers of asbestos in the hope that she can be a voice to save a life.
Kesh works full time in organisational development, is a wedding celebrant and volunteers in the community. Her happy place is in nature and by the sea.
