Elizabeth Foskett was born in Hertfordshire and is a graduate of Oxford University. As an educationalist at a training college, she specialised in History and Languages. She has travelled extensively and visited East and West Germany a number of times during and after the Cold War noting the impact on peoples’ personal lives. She now lives in a small village in Surrey.
