Will Gadbrook, like the Gaius of the title, is seventy-eight years young, has two grown-up sons and lives with his wife in the Southwest of England. Working intermittently during his lengthy ‘career’, living in various parts of the country and visiting various obscure parts of the world, he has campaigned and written on this and that, sometimes successfully.
