Nuka Gagua
Nuka Gagua, a diplomat from Georgia, has been serving in the European Integration Department since 2010. She has actively participated in various international events across the globe, including in the USA, Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Austria, Malaysia, Poland, Serbia, Mexico, South Korea, Belgium, Germany, Malta, Estonia, China, India, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, and Romania.
Gagua is also the acclaimed author of the children’s book What Does the Trip to the Sun Cost? A bestseller in Georgia and the recipient of the prestigious Literature Prize, the Iakob Gogebashvili Prize for literature in the Best Illustrated Book for kids (aged 7-12). The book is being published in Portugal and Brazil. Furthermore, she penned The Parallel Shore, a narrative based on true events spanning from 1921 to 2021. In October 2022, the book was unveiled in Rome, Brussels, and Paris.
Gagua has written three more children’s books. She is also the winner of the “Reviews of Georgian Poetry” competition and a finalist in the “Write a review about a modern Georgian novel” contest.
