Tony Goldsmith

Tony lives with his wife Sue in retirement on the coast of West Sussex in a timber framed bungalow that they have lovingly restored since moving there in 1987. His main hobby since retirement as a Chartered Structural Engineer and Project Manager has been a renewed interest in photography, coupled with becoming skilled in the use of Adobe Photoshop, to produce a variety of graphics for his writings and the enhancement of his digital photography. Tony also likes to write poetry, a hobby which he began whilst working as a Project Manager in a remote area of Afghanistan, during the 1970s. He has also written a children’s book and is currently writing a book, with Sue, about their adventures in Afghanistan. After his RAF service, Tony studied to become a qualified engineer before he, Sue and their two small sons, moved to South Africa where he was a senior design engineer with a large construction company. He believes that he is now able to adapt the creativity he used as a designer in his digital design and his writing.
