Claire Greenwood is a children’s author from Warrington who spent 15 years as a primary school teacher, nurturing her love of children’s books. The idea of Sleepy Sloth was born from a bedtime routine with her eldest daughter Paige, who from a young age asked for step-by-step instructions on how to fall asleep. Later, her youngest daughter Ava wanted the same advice, but Claire turned it into a beautiful bedtime story using Ava’s cuddly toy ‘Slothy’, which became a treasured nightly tradition in their home and can now help children everywhere drift into a peaceful sleep.
When she’s not writing, Claire enjoys painting and making magical memories at home or on family adventures... also, she enjoys that glorious hour’s peace (if she’s lucky) with her lovely boyfriend Matt after Sleepy Sloth has worked its magic!
