Duncan Gregory

A country lad from Cornwall, Duncan Gregory emigrated alone to Australia at sixteen. He worked for fifteen years in rural areas of Australia before rejecting the mainstream and returning to studies. Since then, his cutting-edge work with youth, relating to sustainable living and cultural empathy, has spanned four continents. In later years this work converged to focus on climate change.

Now a freelance writer and journalist based in Kenya, Duncan pens two regular newspaper columns: Sustainable Change and Travelling Light. In this book, he reflects on a challenging life, those extensive travels and the accompanying work, plus a few intriguing characters encountered along the way.
