John Jamieson

John Jamieson was born in 1953. He studied law at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand and worked principally as a government lawyer in Wellington. In his legal practice he was heavily involved in the development of legislation, including law relating to criminal offences and associated court procedures.


He has been an active harrier and casual golfer. He lives with his wife on the Kapiti Coast north of Wellington where their interests include reading, classical and jazz music, the local social scene and occasional overseas travel.
