Jia Jia

Jia Jia is a social theorist, independent scholar and researcher. His research interests include critical theory, cultural analysis, continental philosophy, and postcolonialism. Born and raised in Hong Kong, he spent much of the 1990s in Britain and studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Jia Jia’s early design project was featured in several journals when he was twenty; his later real‑estate business and creative work in Hong Kong have gained international recognition through books, documentaries and exhibitions at institutions such as M+. Jia Jia has written for publications including Capital Entrepreneur and contributed to non‑profit organisations. He has spoken and lectured at universities and public events. As an artist in the After Sunset cultural‑heritage project, he contributed poems exhibited at the 2024 Venice Architecture Biennale Hong Kong Exhibition.
