Jia Jia

Jia Jia is a social theorist and independent researcher. Born and raised in Hong Kong, he spent much of the 1990s in Britain.
 
Jia Jia’s first project was featured in several design journals when he was twenty. Before graduating from the London School of Economics and Political Science, he published his first article in the British magazine International Property. His real estate–related business and creative work has gained international recognition through books, documentaries, and exhibitions at museums such as Hong Kong’s M+.
 
Jia Jia has also contributed to non profit organisations and served as a speaker and moderator at universities and major events. He has written numerous articles for different publications, including the Hong Kong business magazine Capital Entrepreneur.
 
As one of the artists in the cultural heritage project After Sunset, Jia Jia contributed a series of poems. The work has been exhibited widely, including at the 2024 Venice Architecture Biennale Hong Kong Exhibition, co organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects.
