Antoinette E. Johnson was born in Jamaica, West Indies as a Seventh-Day Adventist. She lived in England during her teenage years before returning to Jamaica to pursue her studies.
She attended the Mico Teacher’s College and the University of the West Indies, majoring in Mathematics and Humanities. Antoinette taught both subjects for five years at a traditional high school.
Antoinette later returned to England, where she continued her career in education, teaching and lecturing from primary level through to college. Antoinette holds a Master’s Degree in Education, completed in Birmingham, U.K.
