Priya Kumar was born and raised in South Auckland, New Zealand and has been drawn to storytelling from an early age. Her debut novel, The Space Between Dreams, emerged from personal loss, grief, and years of meticulously recorded dreams written in the quiet space between sleeping and waking. These fragments, both tender and unsettling, gradually formed a story shaped by memory, love, and the belief that souls recognize one another across time. Through her writing, Priya explores the fragile boundary between life and death, and the enduring presence of those we love.
