John Lewis is a 73-year-old widower who lives in the market town of Somerton, Somerset. He has two sons and six grandchildren. He spends two days a week as a Volunteer Driver transporting patients to and from hospital.
He spends much of his free time walking with his partner and her rescue German shepherd. He is a recent convert to Yoga and loves modern line dancing but doesn’t tell anyone because his grandson thinks it’s not cool! He also sponsors a charity based in Luhimba, a small village 600 miles south of Dar Salaam, in Tanzania.
