L.J Hutchison

L.J Hutchison was born on August 12^th 1982, in Hammersmith, London, England. From an early age she loved to write stories and went on to study children’s fantasy fiction as part of a literature degree at university in Bristol. Once back in London, Hutchison began working as a teacher, travelling each day on the London Underground trains to and from school. Standing on station platforms, she was captivated by the mice who scurried in and out of the tunnels and the creation of the story The Garden was initially inspired by an amalgamation of these experiences.
