Katy Malone is an equestrian coach and livery yard manager, from the North Cornwall/Devon border, in the UK. She is a competitive dressage rider, a trainee dressage judge and volunteers as an equine Welfare Adviser in her spare time.
Alongside her equestrian career, Katy holds a special interest in mental health and wellbeing – particularly in the fields of childhood trauma and domestic abuse. She works part-time as a mental health Peer Support Worker and volunteers for a women’s charity, supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
Katy is the loving mother of Ellie, Jasper and Monty Malone, for whom she wrote My Family And Court after experiencing the family court system in the UK from 2020 to 2022.
