Matthew McKinlay

I live in Alice Springs, central Australia, with my wife and children. We have been foster carers of seven years and are very involved with the local Riding for the Disabled Centre where I have been the chair of the board for several years. I am a Veteran, I served with the Australian Army and went to East Timor in 1999. I've been a police officer in the Northern Territory of Australia for 19 years, having worked in Darwin, Tennant Creek and now Alice Springs. The best part of the job is working with young people and getting them on the right track and out of trouble. This story comes from home and the love my wife and I share with our children.
