Matthew St Clair-Wilson

Matthew St Clair-Wilson grew up on the Northern Beaches in Sydney, Australia. Always acting, performing, dressing-up, singing (usually to musical soundtracks and in his mother's clothes) and generally drawing more attention to himself than was necessary; when the time came it was thought best to send him to a high school with selective music and drama classes on Sydney's North Shore. After completing high school, makeup artistry would be his calling. For over 14 years, he has plied his craft on actors of stage and screen, models for catwalk and publication and on more brides than he cares to remember. Always concerned for the comic timing and quick wit, Matthew has long had a way with words and only occasionally jotted down his rhymes, anecdotes, fantasies and one-liners. A surprise to none other than himself to have an illustrated children's poem published; he hopes to hold a pen more and a makeup brush less.
