Jennifer McLachlan grew up in rural Australia in a small town called Inverell. After graduating high school, she went on to study at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music for four years and then began her career and adventures around the world. Jennifer recently retired after forty-three years of teaching drama and music across five different countries. She now resides in Maleny in the idyllic Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Queensland, Australia. Having enjoyed a life filled with supportive creative souls, she credits this, as well as the thousands of children who passed through her classrooms, for inspiring her storytelling.
