Peter Morgan
Peter Morgan was born in 1946 in a small town on the outskirts of London just after the war in very peaceful surroundings and, very thankfully, a country at peace, too. He worked for many years in the accounts department of a large chemist chain, travelling extensively for them in this country: it was at this time he met his wife of 47 years standing. Subsequently, he retired early to pursue more fully other interests, including his love of writing, gardening, chess, and DIY.
During the succeeding years, this state of affairs has changed dramatically as far as the country, and, indeed, where the world is concerned. Under modernisation’s thrall, we are once again in another battle; this time to save the environment and, for that matter, ourselves. This state of affairs caused the author to take on In the Last Days in response to the vast changes brought about by the conflict of the last war.
