Stuart Munro was born in Christchurch, New Zealand, and spent his working life as a computer programmer. After being transferred to Australia, he started working on his first book while travelling to and from work each day. He obtained his Australian citizenship in 2022 and is currently semi-retired and living in the Hunter Valley.
