Andrew Elliot Perry

Andrew Elliot Perry left school following a most undistinguished academic career and embarked on a musical career. After gaining a place at the Royal Academy of Music, he became director of music at Cheam School, Newbury. In 1972, he entered into partnership as headmaster of St. Piran’s School, Maidenhead. In 1983, he left the profession and with his wife, Anne, started businesses in coffee shops, coffee roasting and a bakery. In 2003, these were sold to provide finance for the growing business of Cookfood, the brain-child of his son, Edward. He is married with four children and twelve grandchildren and lives in Kent.
