Alan Pirrie
Alan is a semi‑retired contract worker with a down‑to‑earth love of simple home cooking. Not a foodie or gourmet enthusiast, he discovered cheesecake through old cookbooks, family encouragement, and years of trial, error, and shared enjoyment. A father, grandfather, and now great‑grandfather, Alan brings the same free‑spirited approach to baking that he brings to life – less measuring, more instinct, and plenty of humour. When he’s not making cheesecakes for family celebrations, he can often be found tinkering with creative projects, including the fairy grotto he built in his garden during lockdown.
