Charlotte Rose
Charlotte Rose’s inspiration for writing came from reading fairy tales as a child. She especially enjoyed those that ended with a moral which enhanced its meaning. The tales would always have charming characters and sometimes a darkness which is needed to ensure the message does not become frivolous and overlooked. Charlotte Rose developed her rhyming story method, believing children and adults sometimes need the quick delivery of a whole story, her stories always ending with a life message. The Deer and the Snake is the first to be published, with others hopefully following.
As a teaching assistant in London, Charlotte Rose firmly believes children need to have fun when reading, and if important messages can also be incorporated into that reading then it can be a double bonus. And, of course, it is crucial children are reminded of some very important life messages, whether that’s to keep them safe, understand the world around them, or to be tolerant and considerate to other people.
