Evelyn Sanders
Evelyn Sanders was born in Penrith NSW, Australia, one of 12 siblings. Spent the first 10 years living in the bush. Then the family moved to the Western Suburbs of Sydney. She was not a writer. Her best effort contained information on being buried alive, which freaked out the Nuns! After school, she trained as an Infants teacher, then became a stay-at-home mother for 14 years. She learnt to play the cello and joined her husband’s group: playing for weddings, church, and conferences. Later, after years of private lessons joined the Penrith Symphony Orchestra, where she felt engulfed in the magic of playing in an orchestra. MaCello probably came from this magic music making, and hearing stories of great ‘Cellists.
