Afifa Shanavas is an Environmental Engineer dedicated to spreading the importance of environmental protection. Residing in Dubai, UAE, she has been practising her profession since 2018. From a young age, Afifa has had a keen interest in writing, documenting her thoughts and experiences. She maintains a blog, www.journeyofmylife.me, where she continues to inspire others, particularly women, to break the norms and find their happiness.
Combining her passions for writing and environmental advocacy, Afifa’s debut book aims to educate and empower children to become stewards of the planet. Drawing from her experiences in the field, she recreates a vivid environmental journey, adding an element of fantasy and fiction to captivate young readers and instil a sense of responsibility towards the Earth.
