Clive A Slater
Having run a successful business in the hair industry, for over 50 years, Clive has received many awards and qualifications in his chosen craft. Due to a severe heart condition, physical work became impossible after a life and death operation. Clive left school at the age of 14 years without any formal qualifications. As years passed, he gained many qualifications in his chosen craft and training, gaining the equivalent of a university degree in business and management. He was awarded first in training from the training board Surrey County council, against 5,000 other small, large and international businesses. He spent ten years in Canada, again achieving awards and fame. Clive’s heart condition reduced his physical activity a great deal. When the coronavirus caused the first lockdown he took up pen and paper and started writing books. He created the Honey Bee series with the first being The Lonely Little Fir Tree, second The Bank Account and third The Eviction from Honey Bee Cottage.
A new series of books are now in writing called Eddie the Wonder Dog. Clive has a three-year-old Jack Russell, the stories are short and based on the imaginary adventures of his dog.
