Samantha Smith-Blackmore
Samantha Smith-Blackmore is a writer and creative artist who speaks straight from her heart. Born deaf and diagnosed later in life with borderline personality disorder, she has spent over 50 years bottling up experiences that she may never speak about.
English remains her second language, and her heightened sensory awareness—especially through smell, vibration and visual details—shapes the way she creates and connects. Her debut work, Deaf, Me, My Life, is a courageous act of sharing. Samantha continues to embrace recovery with intention, hoping her story helps others feel less alone and more empowered to speak up or ask for help.
