Served in HM Forces for 22 years as pharmacy technician and medical supply officer. Served in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Nepal, Cyprus, Germany, London, Aldershot, Southampton. Retired as warrant officer in 1986. Married to Mo for 50 years and has two sons, Jason and Justin. Travelled worldwide with Mo. Lives in Stourbridge, West Midlands. Widowed in 2016. Main employment after leaving the RAMC was as transport manager for a paper recycling company. Retired from work in 2012. Plays golf (badly) and bridge. Currently does voluntary work at a Covid vaccination centre.
