Whether or not you are a fan of poetry, A Book by Its Cover has something for everyone. Each poem in this little book of poems has been sculpted like a piece of art, every word chosen like the ingredient of a recipe. The result is something memorable, useful, thought-provoking and delightful.
Topics range from social media to dating to dieting to stress, with anxiety, mindfulness, friends, flying, kindness and even a china cup thrown in.
So curl up, settle down and soak up this satisfying read of eclectic rhymes which will evoke feelings and memories past and present. You might even find that some of the poems are genuine mood-boosters and help you so much that they become a mantra for your future!

A poet, mum, nurse and dog owner from West Yorkshire, Lindsey wrote her first poem, ‘A forgotten doll on a child’s windowsill’, in her English A-Level class aged 18. She then wrote no poems for years. She restarted around a decade ago, writing them for family birthdays and to promote local businesses. She writes self-help poems or on any topic to order.

Lindsey has written each poem in this book with love, to simply brighten your day or help you through.

I found this book so delightful in its writing style and its content. It is a great book for people like myself as I am a very literal person. Good work Lindsay!
