Book Description

The poetry in this book is a deep dive into the mind of someone who feels lost, Adrift in Their Mind, you could say. Providing a perspective on what it is like to live in a world that would despise you if they knew what hides beneath the surface. Covering topics such as love, self-loathing, nostalgia, stress and more.

If you don’t quite fit in anywhere and society calls you a freak, weirdo, or abnormal, you might just find solace in the words on these pages.

Celize Vorster was born in 2007, originally from South Africa but currently living in the UK. This is their first published work, but they have always been a creative person. At five, they used to perform plays for their parents in the living room. At sixteen, they won their school’s prize for house drama after writing a play based on the theme of soap opera. Celize has always had a passion for creating and entertaining, and they are excited to share their writing debut with the world.

Although ADHD and Dyslexia have sometimes made their life difficult, they have never let that stop them from trying their hardest. Despite these challenges, they have achieved many great things. Celize began writing as a creative expression of what it means to be human and as a way to cope with the stresses of life. With the support and encouragement of others, they have now published their poetry book through Austin Macauley Publishers.
