Claire Dolph spent many of her formative years growing up in the Far East, first Malaysia then Hong Kong. As the daughter of an army officer, she was sent to boarding school in England from the age of ten. Being away from home instilled in Claire a desire and need to be resilient to cope with challenging times. She settled in England in 1994 and lives in Sussex with her husband.
