Book Description

Welcome to the world of Bartholomew Hoppinlilypond, the frog. Bartholomew is a proud, handsome and yet prone to fits of terrible temper frog.

He is often defeated, but he is not discouraged and always comes back with a bang, ever ready to have a go at something new, convinced that this time he will be a wonderful winner.

But alas, he is constantly frazzled and frizzled, despairing, lowdown, depressed, defeated, wailing, crying and hopeless, and yet, here he comes again in a new story, full of beans, smiling, optimistic, bright-eyed, gleefully rubbing his hands together as he prepares to start out on his latest adventure.

Will he be a winner this time?

I got this book recently and cannot recommend it highly enough. There are eight stories in this book all of them feature Bartholomew Hoppinlilypond and his various adventures. It’s been a long time since I’ve laughed so much while reading a book. Both children and adults will definitely enjoy this book.

I got this book Bartholomew Higginlilypond just recently and I have to say I enjoyed every minute of reading it. It was so refreshing to read and suitable to both adults and children. Don't want to give spoilers but thought the author was so clever in how he ended each story. Truly like Bartholomew and hope to read more from this author. Felt it was magical and real escapism from some of the doom and gloom . Am ordering some copies from Easons to pass onto friends (adults and children) to share Bartholomew Higginlilypond and bring joy into their lives with his very refreshing adventures. Hope this book gets the success it deserves.
