Welcome to the nightmare that any mother would not wish to go through. This story concerns my life and circumstances that nearly ended my life. The details in this story may upset certain people just as it upset me. The dramatic true events that I have expressed in this story are traumas that were reported on television and in tabloid newspapers in the late eighties.

It has taken me over thirty years to build up the courage to express my feelings and get over the trauma of the horrific turmoil that I was put through in the prime of my life due to the negligence of people out of my control. Writing this book has eventually helped me get some relief after the pain and suffering I and my family were put through at the time and has also helped me to close this chapter in my life. I think anyone who reads this book would identify with my long-term sorrow.

This book concerns the true story of my life and the major trauma that happened to me during the nineteen eighties. This story was reported on the television and in many newspapers around this time. This book will be a great help to anyone who has lost a child in the past and could be a great help to look towards the future.

This was an emotional roller coaster of a read. Brutally honest and heartbreaking. This book is a meaningful true account of events, which most would not disclose. You would not wish this on anyone, but to be able to speak your truth and tell your story to the world must be an amazing sense of relief. Very proud of you Michele.

This book is one of the most honest and moving accounts of trauma I’ve ever read. It’s a story told with such clarity and courage that you can’t help but feel the weight of it. Her writing is honest and powerful and helps others understand what trauma really looks like it /help people understand their own trauma. I’m proud of her for telling her story.

Even though I saw all of this happening I never knew just how traumatic it reallly was. I am proud of you for telling it in your own words with brutal honesty. I can’t get the image of Chris in Demim Shorts and Adidas trainers out of my head though!! Love you both for going through all that and coming out the other side. This must have been good therapy for you both

I have just recieved this book. Just from reading the first page, I can already see the courage it must've taken to write it. The author, Michelle, must have felt all the feelings when writing this book and I applaud your honesty and strength

It’s a very sad life story , written with so much pain and sorrow A very big tragic event within a family which brings so many emotions and you can really feel the mothers suffering, a loving husband support for his family and continued love and positivity within very dark days I enjoyed the read , I cried and wish their really was more justice in this world But hopefully now it brings peace to your life’s , if you would like a quick read I would recommend
