Peter is the grandson of Mr John Morgan who was known as King of the Gypsies who's chosen town was Ulverston, where he settled. The author as a young man, achieved the Queen Scout Award also the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award and led a patrol that won the Jamboree. He went on to play football and later took up qualifications for coaching.
