Danny's Bonfire Night

This is the first book in the Danny Dragon series written and illustrated by mother and son team, Jean and Jamie Illingworth. They are stories of kindness and friendship and the everyday adventures of a lonely dragon, Danny, and his brave little friend Susie. Danny’s Bonfire Night is the story of how Danny and Susie met and how Danny saved the day at the village bonfire night.

Jean Illingworth is a safety adviser and landscape photographer but has always written poetry and stories. Her son, Jamie, is a writer and illustrator, trained in 3D animation, but prefers working in 2D. This is their first collaboration; Jean writing the stories which Jamie edits, Jean sketching the illustrations which Jamie brings to life.
