I absolutely loved this book and found that I just couldn't put it down- something I haven't felt for a long time when reading! The story line is full of suspense and takes you through the protagonist's magnitude of emotions. The novel is scattered with endearing details that really enables the reader to truly connect with the characters. Harriet has an incredible talent- cannot wait for the next book!
What a great first novel Harriet Mills, enjoyed from start to finish. I read a lot of books and this was a very easy read, great story, can’t wait for the next book to come out.

This book is gorgeous, the story is told beautifully and takes you through so many emotions. Can not believe this is the authors first book and hope there will be more.

I just had to know how it ended for the main character 'Mary'
and her family. An amazing first novel, which I finished in a
matter of days. The characters, the settings and storyline
had me hooked!
I can't wait for the sequel.
Received this for Christmas, finished within 3 days, loved it. Was hooked by the second chapter. Very well written. Would definitely recommend.
