I absolutely loved this book and found that I just couldn't put it down- something I haven't felt for a long time when reading! The story line is full of suspense and takes you through the protagonist's magnitude of emotions. The novel is scattered with endearing details that really enables the reader to truly connect with the characters. Harriet has an incredible talent- cannot wait for the next book!

I just had to know how it ended for the main character 'Mary'
and her family. An amazing first novel, which I finished in a
matter of days. The characters, the settings and storyline
had me hooked!

This book is one that is difficult to put down. It is well structured with a twist in the plot. The characters are all very believable and the locations real. I thoroughly enjoyed Harriet’s first novel and can’t wait for the next one.
