Dennis Bisskit is the finest private investigator in Dudley, if not the entire nation.

But he’s also a husband and father, and unfortunately, there are only so many hours in a day.

How can you possibly find the time to be a family man and fight crime?

It’s a difficult situation or, as best friend and business partner, Stinky Blackshaw would call it, ‘a perplexing problem’.

Catching a diamond thief or teaching baby how to survive in the wilds, it’s all in a day’s work for Dennis Bisskit.

The author, Stephen Ainley, kindly sent me a copy of this book, for an honest review.

Dennis Bisskit is back and he's just as hilarious as ever!

during my time reviewing books, I’ve found that not many authors can write multiple books to a consistently high standard but, Stephen proves again and again that he most definitely can! I love Dennis and Stinky's relationship and the comical predicaments that Dennis always seems to find himself in.

This book gives you an insight into events not mentioned in any of the previous books, that being said, if you've been around from the beginning you will know exactly at which point in Dennis’ life the events would have originally taken place. Nevertheless, it wouldn't affect the enjoyment of this book if you hadn't read the others first .

Stephens writing had me laughing from start to finish.
Being a huge fan of the Dennis Bisskit series I naturally expect things to not exactly go to plan. However, I still found myself shocked and amused when one of Dennis' plans backfired or shall we say caused 'Perplexing Problems’.

The story has ended on a hilarious cliff hanger so I hope there will be a 5th book coming some time in the (not so distant) future.

If you haven't read any of Stephen's previous work then what are you waiting for? Go buy them all now!

I would highly recommend this book to everyone, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.
