Diversity starts in the clouds; we see them everywhere! We can observe millions of different shapes, but they are all formed in the same way.
Diversity Love tells a story about Claudia, a girl who immigrates to another country and feels so scared of the new life she must face: a new school, new friends, new teachers, and a new neighbourhood away from her loved ones. With the help of her family, her new teacher and friends, Claudia learns to cope and feels welcome, defeating all the monsters of fear and anxiety in her imagination.
Miss Maple is a wonderful teacher who embraces diversity in her classroom; she thinks everybody can grow and learn from other cultures. She loves different accents and languages, and she lets children speak up about their interests, encouraging them to explore their creativity to discover themselves.
This book is inspired by our own story, featuring my daughters and me moving to a different country. This is a story for them, Claudia and Mia, and for all the children and people who go through big changes in life, to help you see how brave you can be!
