“One of these days, I am going to kill you, kill you slowly, and before I bury you, I am going to watch you burn!” Jake Evan said.

Jake is the youngest of four boys who holds the same hatred for his alcoholic father as his father holds for him, for reasons not known by Jake.

His mother, Faith, may hold the key to the hatred and the reasons behind Jake’s behaviour. Desperately trying to keep her family together, will she survive the trials and tribulations of what’s ahead or will she succumb and fall back into the arms of a past lover?

A great read and very descriptive writing fashion. I don't read many books but felt myself drawn in the the story and had a compulsion to read to the end. With great characters and storylines you'll feel like you relate to them in a personal way. I can't wait to read more from this author.

It kept me gripped from the first word right to the last word. Didn’t want to put it down once I started reading it.
I just hope it doesn’t end there I need a sequel.

A great novel, a book that once I picked it up, I couldn’t put it down! I never expected the ending! It blew me away! I can’t wait for the sequel.

A must-read for those who love suspense and thrillers. An easy read and hard to put down once you start. A credit to Georgina as her first published book. Can't wait for future books from this author.

A really well-written debut novel. The build-up of the characters is brilliant, I found myself feeling angry with the protagonists, then feeling sorry for them, infuriated with others, a real mix of emotions.
The plot is quite a common one for this genre but has so many twists and turns it's never predictable. I find many storylines are over-complicated which takes away the pleasure, this is anything but, every character has its own personality and serves a purpose making the storyline easy to read and digest. I can't wait for the sequel. There will be a sequel right..?

It’s an achievement in itself to be a published author, but to do so with such a riveting, intense story as a debutant is even more admirable. The despair is palpable and the sense of impending tragedy is apparent from the outset, but it still leaves the reader open-mouthed in shock when it happens.
This may be the start of something big, let’s hope so because I need to know what happens next.
