Book Description

REVENGE HAS NO END

On ancient Mars, the Martian race has finally won its freedom, overthrowing the cephalopods who oppressed them for generations. Now, in an effort to forge a new future, they seek an alliance with the insectoid Antis, the very beings who helped destroy their former rulers.

A group of four emissaries is sent to establish contact, but what they uncover sets off a chain of events that will shape the fate of their planet. As shadows of the past loom large, a terrifying question arises: has Mars traded one nightmare for something even worse?

In the near future, a team of astronauts led by Tom Fisher makes a discovery that changes everything: intelligent life once thrived on Mars. But what begins as an extraordinary scientific revelation soon takes an unsettling turn. A remarkable encounter delivers truths that challenge humanity’s very existence, unlocking a Pandora’s box that may never be closed.

Stephen Darnell lives in rural Oxfordshire with his wife Sarah. Being awarded a fifteen-yards swimming certificate at age nine and a prize book token for writing an essay about the Sun at secondary school were life-changing moments. These achievements led to a degree in Maths and Astronomy, and a fulfilling career in teaching and lecturing.

Stephen has had a lifelong passion for all things space-related and has already published his debut novel Empire of Mars with Austin Macauley. He is currently working on the final part of the trilogy.
