Ashling McGee was born on the 16th of July 1981 and has a daughter who loves her mum reading stories to her because she has a great imagination and loves books. These are stories Ashling wrote based on what she read to her child at bedtime. Her child has a great imagination and loves stories about adventures while dreaming. Her daughter is her inspiration for what she write. The first one is called Floretta’s First Adventure. Then Ashling continued with Floretta’s Sea Adventure, a continuation of Floretta’s adventure in dreamland. This started as a hobby for Ashling but maybe it could be more. She would love to know if you found it interesting and maybe she could continue writing more adventures for Floretta. She is hoping to build on it as a series of short stories that a parent could read as a bedtime story or older kids could read it themselves. As a child, everyone loves been read a story full of wonder and adventure. It gives them ideas of how everything looks and makes them believe in the story and helps them dream that they too can have great adventures themselves.

Floretta’s Dreamland Adventures is split into two adventures about a little child going to sleep and having an adventure while in dreamland. The author hopes there will be plenty more to come.
