This book is absolutely delightful, I bought it for my Granddaughter who is 7. The story is told beautifully, captivating child and adult alike, and the illustrations are lovely, so bright and colourful, lots of things in them to discuss with a child. I too liked the checklist, made me chuckle, we all make one before we go on a trip, but not quite like that one!!. It is an amusing tale, one which all young children will enjoy and I love the subtle message at the end about where sea creatures really belong, very clever. My Granddaughter and I eagerly await the further adventures of Granddad and Nanny Sharon.

I purchased this book as a present for my 7-year-old niece. Obviously, I had a cheeky read first and wasn't disappointed with my present idea. It is a beautifully written, funny and interesting book with fantastic colourful illustrations. It is based around the adventures of Nanny Sharon and Granddad with lots of wonderful sea creatures. I found the holiday checklist particularly amusing. I would highly recommend this book and agree with the age of 3 to 8 although I am 51 and still enjoyed it.

Lovely read, nicely written with colourful illustrations. I bought as a Christmas gift for my 8-year-old niece, hopefully, she will enjoy reading it as much as I did!

So Enjoyable - It’s not often you get adventure stories involving “grandparents” going on exciting and magical journeys but here it is. I bought This book for a gift for a friends daughter and I’m so pleased I did it’s so lovely. The illustrations are bright and colourful complimented with an imaginative story. Our first grandchild arrives soon can’t wait to buy another one to share with him or her.
