After the sudden death of her father, Kasie became an unintentional author. She wanted to make an effort to create a bond between her then twelve-week-old daughter, Quinn, and her father, affectionately known as Poppy. So, she penned a poem to show the importance of a grandfather's memory and the presence a grandfather can have, despite his absence.
