  Hartsfield is a novel I couldn’t put down! It’s a story of life and love against the odds, set in late 1800s England. I was immediately immersed into the world of Jane Clair, and I, along with many other characters within the book, fell in love with her warm, sincere and loving character. As I read further, my appreciation for the beautiful cover grew, which I also discovered was hand-drawn by the author. The theme of believing in having a destiny throughout the book and the transformational effect of love was touching and inspiring. I also loved the writing style, which flowed organically from one character to the next; one scene to the next. A new classic and one I highly recommend.

  Set in the Victorian era, the story of ‘Hartsfield’ recognises the innate goodness of humankind, behind the discriminations and intolerances of a caste system. The story revolves around the breaking down of the boundaries within this prejudicial system. Indeed, Hartsfield is the best book I have ever read, and it is a must-read for anyone with a heart full of love. The plot is masterfully put together, following a character that is beautifully described in a language that the reader is compelled to stay and go on reading. I really loved it and I hope you enjoy it too!

  I immediately fell in love with the characters in this story and just had to know what was going to happen. A beautiful story to read and completely lose yourself in. I absolutely loved this book.

  Hartsfield is a beautiful romance between two people from diametrically opposed positions in society during an era where hierarchical norms were strictly adhered to.
  The author’s eloquent and descriptive writing style enables the reader to vividly step into the world of Hartsfield and evoke feelings of heartache, longing, love, and joy experienced by the characters. The drama-filled storyline created excitement and anticipation with every page turned – I could not put it down!
  I highly recommend this book and getting lost in the riveting love story of Jane Clair and John Ronald. Hartsfield was a delight to read!
